Owl Rex, the ruler of the Avian Principality represents wisdom, fairness and equity among the regions of the woods. Owl Rex built an independent kingdom and established peace and good relations between his land and that of South Wood with his good friend, Grigor Svik. He is now able to see how the government in South Wood is deteriorating and that not everyone there can be trusted. He has the wisdom and forethought to warn Prue that she may be in danger and to give her helpful guidance.
