Who is Harry Lacy from Wideacre and what is their importance?

Harry Lacy becomes Squire of Wideacre. He is away at school when Beatrice learns about Wideacre, and she looks on Harry's absence as an exile but it is actually his chance to gain the knowledge he will need to make the estate prosper. Beatrice seduces Harry to make her place on the estate secure, but her desire for him quickly disappears. He unknowingly fathers a child by Beatrice and Celia passes the child off as her own. Harry then fathers another, Richard, who is raised as the son of John MacAndrew.
