Rosa Parks is the woman who ignites a boycott of the public bus system in Mississippi when she refuses to give up her seat to a White man. Parks is arrested and charged with disobeying the segregation ordinance which had by then been struck down by the Supreme Court. Her case became a test for the rules in integration which had yet to be put into effective practice.
