How does Miranda react to Julia's assertiveness in this section?

Julia becomes a thorn in Miranda's side in these chapters. Julia begins hanging out at the sandwich shop and she begins forcing herself between Miranda and Annemarie. This causes Miranda to become quite happy when the sandwich shop owner shows a distaste for Julia too.
