How does Miranda learn about Annemarie's disease?

Annemarie has some kind of seizure that Julia recognizes immediately and shows Miranda how to deal with it. Later, Annemarie is called to the nurse and goes home. Julia tells Miranda that Annemarie has epilepsy and is not supposed to eat bread.
