How does Helen Hampton change over the course of the narrative in the novel, When Two Feathers Fell From the Sky?

As an elderly white woman, Helen has prejudices against Two. She does not trust her because she is Native American. Knowing this, Two tries to educate her out of her bigotry. Indeed, over the course of the novel, Helen softens towards Two. She even becomes Two's caretaker after the accident. With time, they become friends.
