What is the falling action

Omar opens the note from Maryam and on the top she titled it, “a poem of stars” (255). The authors use a font that looks like script for Maryam’s poem. As Hassan and Omar travel through the airport it reads in the captions, “Those who are lost look to the stars to lead them home. The flag of Somalia, our home, has one star, one background. But we are not one star. We are millions. Not one background, but millions” (256). On page 256 they continue to walk through the airport with her poem in the background.
