Who does Rishi depend upon for advice in the novel, When Dimple Met Rishi?

Rishi calls his father when he needs advice, though he sometimes gives the wrong advice in the situation, for example when he suggests to Rishi that he give Dimple the “special gift” - or family ring because he thinks Dimple is probably a traditional girl (28). Later when Rishi decides to change career paths, it is his father he has to get up the courage to confront. His father is very loving and understanding though, despite Rishi’s fear of disappointing him.
