What did Paul's mother fear the most in Arizona?

Paul's mother feared the most for her children's futures. The Mohave County public school system was the least educated district in America according to a U.S. students. The high school dropout rate was more than 30%. Very few students went to college. They had come from a school system where attending elite colleges was the expectation. She feared that her sons would not have the opportunity to attend good colleges.
