Holy Cross Parish provides Joe with what he has been seeking since as a child he wrestled with the implications of the material and the spiritual. Ministering to the neediest and to the forgotten, Joe at last finds a working balance between his need for a life of prayer and devotion and his need to help. Holy Cross allows Joe the chance to take up his cross and to fulfill the highest expectations of his calling: a servant of the Lord.
