What is Jackson's quest in the story, What You Pawn I Will Redeem?

In the story, Jackson launches his quest after seeing his grandmother's traditional powwow costume in a pawnshop window. He must then loom before the pawnshop owner sells it to someone else. His journey, both literally and symbolically, is a journey to reclaim his ethnic heritage.
