Where did Wei and Lina live during their time in America in the novel, What We Were Promised?

Wei and Lina immigrated to America in 1988 and settled down in Pennsylvania. They spend 15 years there, and despite starting out poor and feeling like foreigners, they build a life for themselves, become fluent in English, buy their own house, and prosper in their careers.
