Who is Lyndall in the novel, What We Lose?

Thandi's cousin from South Africa, Lyndall is an outgoing personality who is known to get in trouble. Despite her conservative attitude, Thandi's mother has a strong relationship with Lyndall, and they bond over the latter's mischievous actions. Despite her friendship with Thandi, Lyndall is insensitive when her cousin has a divorce, and is also glib during any serious event in life.
