The Shipworks is a condo community that Elizabeth and Jack buy into. It is being converted from another purpose into condos. It is located in wealthy suburban Park Shore, and people in the community do not want the building because they fear renters could move in. Because of protestors, the conversion of the building is frequently stalled. Eventually Brandie is able to stop the building from progressing, and Benjamin starts the building on fire for the insurance money. This condo plays a central role in the conflict between Jack and Elizabeth as they both have different desires for what they want in their home.
