Crooked Crown is the stage name of a popular rapper who gains notoriety after undergoing early-stage demelanization. Her signature look is a purple fur coat and bikini top that becomes a fashion fad, replicated all over the country. However, because of her decision to change her racial identity, she is considered a controversial figure by some black activists, including some in the Tiko community.
