.
.
The King house is a symbol of legacy and lies. As soon as Vincent is released from jail, he begins renovating and repairing the house in which he grew up. After his death, Duchess learns that he has left the house to her and Robin. Leaving it to them is why he refused to sell it to Darke.
The house is also a symbol of lies. After Star was killed, Vincent told Darke he would sell the house to him. Walk knows this is suspicious because Vincent was so adamant about not selling it. Vincent had already lied about being responsible for Star’s death. He agrees to sell Darke the house on the stipulation that Darke will leave Robin and Duchess alone.
