The Chapel of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows is Franciscus' (Urbain's father) first place of employment during Urbain's childhood. Urbain's memories of witnessing his father painting influence him heavily, inspiring in him not only his lifelong love for art, but also his love for his father. The Church also provides sanctuary to the family in terms of financial support.
