Waiting For God
What spiritual awakening did Weil experience while visiting Solesmes as noted in the memoir, Waiting For God?

.
Solesmes, a commune in northwestern France, is home to the Benedictine Abbey of St. Peter and other significant religious sites. According to her "Spiritual Autobiography," Weil spent Holy Week in 1938 in Solesmes. It was there that her burgeoning spiritual awakening reached its climax. She had a mystical experience in which she felt the presence of divine love crossing the infinite gap between God and humanity and came to understand the important of prayer and recitation through an encounter with an English Catholic priest.
