Fort Meade is the place where leaders of the Pure Movement take people who are considered traitors to the movement to assassinate them. Patrick tells Jean how he saw the man who introduced him to the resistance shot to death there. To get Jean and the others out of the lab building, Poe tells the soldiers that they are on their way to Fort Meade.
