How is Camellia House described in the novel, Violeta?

Camellia House is described as having a “dark vestibule that led to two sitting rooms, the library, the formal dining room, the billiards room, and another room that was always locked… The second wing of the house was separated from the first by a courtyard” (15-16). The house, however, suffers from “progressive deterioration” and “was worth almost nothing” (17).
