Located near Macdonald's childhood home in Camberley, Surrey, Tekels Park was the sight of many of Macdonald's youthful adventures. As a child, she would roam freely in the park's meadows, fascinated by the innumerable animals, insects, and plants the park hosted. Over the years since her growing up, Macdonald would visit the park, hoping nothing had happened to its fragile ecosystem. While the park's meadow was maintained for some time, it has since been mowed, its wild inhabitants destroyed.
