What is the author's style in Vernon God Little by D.B.C. Pierre?

Vernon God Little is written in rough teenage idiom, every third adjective being "fucken," applied to nouns at random, sometimes for emphasis but more often, it appears, simply out of habit. When a prison psychiatrist suggests Vernon clean up his language and drop evidence of a profound anal fixation, he obeys and apologizes thereafter to his hearer for even the most innocent and necessary references to the bowels.
