Who is Mrs. Priddy from Venetia and what is their importance?

Mrs. Priddy is employed as the nursemaid at Undershaw. She cares for Aubrey when he is ill, and later cares for Conway's pregnant wife, Charlotte. Priddy is not initially a fan of Damerel, but after getting to know him, she gives Venetia her blessing.
