Lissa misses her powers, and realizes that Victor was right when he told her that she wouldn't be able to stop healing people. She wants to help people, but Rose is worried that it will drain her to the point of turning Strigoi, just like Ms. Karp. Rose does some research about Vladimir's last days, and finds out that he died happy of old age, thanks to the help of his shadow-kissed guardian, Anna. Rose feels that, so long as they stick together, Lissa might just be fine.
