Why was Lajos taken away by officials as noted in the autobiography, Upon the Head of the Goat: A Childhood in Hungary 1939-1944?

Lajos, a young soldier and Piri's brother-in-law, was taken away by officials for allegedly speaking ill of Hungary. He was transferred to a concentration camp along with wife Lilli and baby Manci.
