Who is Cyrus Finch from Unwind and what is their importance?

Cyrus Finch becomes Lev’s traveling companion after he is separated from Connor and Risa. Cyrus was the recipient of a temporal lobe transplant with unexpected results. He senses the presence of the original owner, is compelled to cheat and steal, and seems to be directed at every turn. Lev travels to Joplin, Missouri, with Cyrus, where he is finally able to confront the donor.
