What dampens Jeanie's happiness after Julius tells her that he has found somewhere for them to live in the novel, Unsettled Ground?

Jeanie is thrilled when Julius says he has found them a new place to live. Her excitement, however, dissipates immediately upon her arrival to the caravan. The place is nothing but an abandoned and dilapidated trailer in the middle of nowhere.
