In Chapter Seven, how does Donovan get his sister, Katie, to help the class?

Sadly, Donovan uses blackmail to get Katie to help out in class. She initially refuses, but Donovan responds to her refusal by telling her he won't help out with Beatrice anymore.... thus, she gives in.
