Who is Irene Rikker in the novel, Two Wrongs?

Irene Rikker is the lead actress in Bill’s play, as well as his fiancée. Engaged only because often “the two richest young people in a town are drawn together by the fact” (438), their constant quarrels and repeated unfaithfulness to each other ultimately lead to Bill making a scene during dress rehearsal, and their eventual breakup.
