Mrs. Miller is Tyler's mom and overall a sweet person dealing with a bad marriage. She is a pet photographer and trying to grow her business. She continually makes excuses for her husband's outrageous behavior. She drinks to soothe her problems. She supports Tyler in some ways through the problems, but seems unsure of whether he is innocent. She is very happy when she finds out he didn't do it and is cleared by the police.

Mr. Miller is Tyler's father, a strict man with lots of pressure from work. He is trying to provide for his family and do well, but he often neglects them or treats them poorly in how he speaks to them. He continues to struggle as his work is investigated for accounting issues and his boss is the father of Bethany. When naked pictures of her show up online and Tyler is accused, his life becomes even more complicated. In the end, he is fired and blames Tyler, but Tyler stands up to him. When they talk he realizes that although he was not physically abusive, as his father was to him, he still was not a good father and husband.
