What do you think the author's purpose was in writing the book Tuesday with Morrie

In my opinion, Mitch had a few different purposes in writing Tuesdays With Morrie. First, he wished to reconnect with a man he admired and respected. Second, he and Morrie both wished to share Morrie's thoughts, experiences, and the lessons he'd learned.
