TREASON'S HARBOUR was not a particularly challenging book as far as language is concerned. The language used is straight-forward or was at least meaning easily discernible by context. It did include abundant nautical terminology such as aft, starboard, cabin, etc., which may pose a problem for a reader not accustomed to the sea. The ships on which the characters sailed were exceedingly large. Even for someone accustomed to sailing, such enormous vessels have their own set of terms.
