What metaphors are used in Transformations by Anne Sexton?

Sexton is a fan of using metaphor. The most evident example can be seen in Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty), when the poet refers to her drunken father leaning over her bed as a "shark circling the abyss" and that he lays on her "like some sleeping jellyfish."
