Where do the girls take Brent's ashes after his death in the novel, Trail of Broken Wings?

Ranee, Sonya, Marin, Trisha, and Gia take Brent's ashes to India to scatter them into the river. This action is symbolic of returning Brent to the place where he was still a good husband and father and their family to a place where they were happy together. Only by facing this past together can they truly move on to their future.
