What do the emergency packages given to each member of Merek's team contain in the novel, Timeline?

Each member of Marek’s team is given an emergency package especially designed by ITC. Each package contains an aerosol can that sprays an anesthetic that knocks out the victim in seconds. It also includes several cubes that spark to light a fire, as well as bandages. No plastic items are packed in the packages to protect the integrity of the time period.
