I'm not sure who you mean by "di". After Si is finished, Julia sits in silence for what feels to Si like a long time. They hear the front door open and close, and realize that Jake is going out. Julia tells Si plainly that she's going with him, and Si agrees, telling her to meet him in the front hall.
