What is the "sprinkleroom" in the novel, Time’s Arrow?

Sprinkleroom is the German euphemism for the fake shower rooms, which were secret gas chambers used to murder people, hundreds at a time. One of the "efficient" methods worked out for the Nazi "final solution" to the Jewish "problem."
