How is Wallstreet almost injured while helping to prepare the wild horses for their auction?

When Hipps gets the horses ready for the auction, he enlists the help of many of the townsmen to help him rally and wrangle the horses. Even though his father forbid him to come, Wallstreet tags along and tries to help water the horses when one of the ponies escapes and nearly tramples him.
