Dennis's claim that he is a one-man youth culture reveals his own arrogance and sense of entitlement by thinking people should emulate him. Since he is clearly an unlikable thug, it is an ominous statement, especially since there is truth in it, as evidenced by Warren's idealization of him. It also echoes the title of the play, "This Is Our Youth."
