When Odie gets curious about Jack's mysterious life and circumstances, he begins snooping each of Jack's rooms. He discovers one particular bedroom that disturbs him, torn apart in a seemingly violent fit. When the friends grow increasingly distrustful of Jack, an angry and unpredictable drunk, they devise a plan to escape. One night while Jack is drinking, he grows forceful with the children; Odie shoots him and the friends flee.
