What did Clay do to Hannah that he got tapes?

Although Clay is one of the people included on Hannah’s suicide tapes, he is not on the tapes because he hurt Hannah in some way. Instead, Hannah tells Clay that he should not be on the tapes but that he must be included so that she can more fully tell the rest of her stories.
