Things fall apart Chapter 17 Okonkwo reflects on the stark differences between himself and Nwoye and thinks about his own father. Do you feel,when you read his reflections that Okonkwo has good reason to be so angry?

I think this might help explain Okonkwo's anger but his anxieties are still rooted in his personal self-esteem issues. His constant pursuit of hyper-masculinity seems to be a coping mechanism for his own insecurities.
