Why does Marshall have to live in a Scarlet Gang safehouse in the novel, These Violent Delights?

At the end of the novel, Juliette pretends to kill Marshall to stop Tyler from killing Alisa or Roma. This means that Marshall must live in a Scarlet Gang safe house to hide from both sides to protect Roma and the others.
