Who is Jacob Tailor from The Zombie Survival Guide and what is their importance?

Jacob Tailor is a filmmaker. He travels to Siberia with his crew in order to film a frozen saber-tooth body, as well as a sixteenth-century Cossack corpse. Tailor and his men soon find themselves under attack by zombies, after which, they quickly fortify the top floor of a farmhouse. In the end, they discover that zombies can be killed by inflicting wounds to their heads, a discovery that allows them to kill of all them. Tailor films the entire incident, only to have it suppressed.
