Who is the young man from Atlanta?

Will says the young man was Will's late son Bill's roommate. Will says the young man came to Houston for the funeral, cried more than Lily Dale and has since been insinuating himself into the Kidders' lives at every turn. Will suspects he's just trying to get money out of them, although the young man claims "he just wants to stay in touch with Bill's dad."
