Describe Will's display of pride at the end of the scene.

After leaving the study for his bedroom, Will comes back in and says he "still has some pride left." Then he gives the check to Lily Dale and tells her to give it to her boyfriend from Atlanta. When Lily Dale exits crying Will tears the check up and throws it in the trash.
