What was the bar like where Bartle went in the airport in Chapter 5?

Bartle went to the only open bar in the airport. Everything about the bar and the airport were new and sterile. The tiles on the floor were clean. The bar was light wood lacquered to a glossy shine, and Bartle could see his face reflected there.
