In Chapter 4, what was a casualty feeder card?

Each soldier carried a casualty feeder card. It was a card that was to be used if a solider was injured or killed, it had blanks where Xs could be entered for information like: Killed in Action, Missing in Action, Wounded in Action, Captured, Detained, or Died as a Result of Wounds. There were also yes and no boxes for Body Recovered o Body Identified. There was a place for witness remarks and for the signature of the commanding officer or medical personnel.
