Who is Dakota in the novel, The Wrong Family?

Dakota is Winnie's twin brother. In the narrative present, Dakota's wife, Manda, kicks him out of the house, after which, he shows up Winnie's house, drinking heavily and getting into an altercation with Nigel and Samuel. When Winnie refuses to defend him, Dakota storms out. Over the course of the novel, Dakota's mental state worsens. Manda tells Winnie she thinks he is schizophrenic and needs help, but Winnie ignores her. Feeling abandoned and betrayed, Dakota grows increasingly unstable. While suffering a psychotic break, Dakota kills Nigel and Terry. Juno stops him from killing Winnie and himself. Ultimately, she leads him into the Crouches' crawl space where she shoots Dakota.
