The Wrong Family
What is the main setting in the novel, The Wrong Family?
.

.
The majority of the novel takes place in the Crouch home, located on Turlin Street in Seattle, Washington. The house is old and overlooks Greenlake Park. Winnie finds the house while out on a run not long after getting married. When she sees it, she yanks the for sale sign out of the lawn and tells the owner she wants to buy it. Nigel is less enthusiastic about the house. It has innumerable problems which cost an exorbitant amount of money to fix. When Nigel suggests they build an apartment onto the house for renters, to make up for all the money they have spent on repairs, Winnie resists. Nigel goes through with the plans anyway, but no one ends up living in the space.
In the narrative present, Juno is squatting in a closet of the Crouch home, where she listens to the family's movements and conversations. This is also the place where Josalyn's baby is buried, and where both Juno and Dakota die.
